Gouldian Finch

While I was TDY to Germany for work, one of my classmates for my course had a severe accident and ended up in surgery. I wanted to make her feel better and yes, I did travel internationally with my gouache paints! So I looked up a cute and colorful finch and Gouldian Finch is what came up. This is obviously an exaggeration but I love how he looks! And yes it did make her feel a bit better!
